Privacy Policy

Printed Day (“we,” “us”) is a photo-first app that turns the photos from a day into a receipt-style keepsake. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. You can use Printed Day without creating an account.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name, via our authentication provider (Supabase). If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, and profile photo with us; we never see your Google password.
• Profile details. If you set up a profile, we store the username, display name, and profile photo you choose so friends can recognize you. Setting up a profile is optional.
• Photos and content you choose to share. Receipts you create are stored locally on your device by default. If you enable cloud backup or add photos and content to a shared scrapbook, those photos and related content (captions, labels, scrapbook items) are uploaded to our cloud storage so they can sync and be visible to the members of that scrapbook.
• Content you create. Receipt text, labels, moods, and scrapbook organization.

What we do not collect

• We do not show ads or use advertising identifiers.
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We do not collect your device’s GPS or precise location. Any location shown on a receipt is text you type in yourself.
• We do not sell your personal information.

How we use your information

• To provide the app: create and edit receipts, sync your data across your devices, and power shared scrapbooks.
• To operate and secure your account.

How information is shared

• Shared scrapbooks. Content you add to a shared scrapbook is visible to the other members of that scrapbook (people you or another member invite).
• Service providers. We use Supabase to store account data and synced or shared content on our behalf. We do not share or sell your data to third parties for advertising.

Data storage and security

• Personal receipts remain on your device unless you back them up or share them.
• Synced and shared data is stored with Supabase, protected by row-level security, and encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Data retention and deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated cloud data at any time by emailing thomas.saekao@gmail.com. Content stored only on your device is removed when you delete it in the app or uninstall Printed Day.

Children

Printed Day is not directed to children under 13 and is intended for general audiences.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post any changes on this page and update the date above.
